Ad Council came to us with a problem: no one knows what CVI [Community Violence Intervention] is. So what better way to educate the public on CVI than to show it in action? We created 3 films showing how deploying trusted individuals from these communities, known as credible messengers, can support a community during the most critical moments of their lives. This intervention has been statistically proven to reduce retaliatory crimes.
